When and How to Apply
Eligibility
The UCLA Russian Flagship welcomes applications from students at all levels of proficiency. Program participants include students who are studying Russian as a foreign or second language and heritage students, i.e., students who grew up in Russian-speaking families in the United States.
Admissions
The UCLA Flagship has a rolling admission process. Applicants should contact Professor Olga Kagan (okagan@humnet.ucla.edu) to set up an interview and an Oral Proficiency Interview. Interested non-UCLA students should contact Susan Bauckus (russianflagship@international.ucla.edu).
